Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a long term care setting
- Implement therapeutic interventions including exercise, massage, and gait and balance training
- Monitor and document patient progress throughout the course of treatment
- Report treatment results and patient progress to the supervising therapist
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience
- Active Texas OT license or compact state license required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a long term care or skilled nursing environment
- Familiarity with documentation and reporting standards in a therapy setting
