Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER) – Nights

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | Expected 36 or 48 hours/week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department within a Critical Access Hospital setting
• Float to Med/Surg and Stepdown units as needed — this role is approximately 60% ED and 40% critical access charge/backup coverage
• Serve as backup charge nurse for both the ED and Med/Surg departments
• Stabilize, treat, and coordinate transfer of emergent patients requiring higher levels of care
• Collaborate with support staff, ED technicians, and telehealth services including TeleEmergency, Telepsych, and Teleneonatal
• Maintain active certifications in BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and TNCC throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Room experience
• Active New Hampshire RN license (must be current at time of submission)
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• Active American Heart Association ACLS certification
• Active American Heart Association PALS certification
• Active TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum) certification
• Must be willing and able to take Stepdown patients and assist with Med/Surg patients
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous charge nurse experience (highly preferred — please ensure this is reflected in your profile)
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Previous experience working in a Critical Access Hospital
• NRP certification
