Job Title

Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Lakeport, CA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4×10-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday (6:45 AM – 5:15 PM) | Onsite | Rotating on-call required after hours and on weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients in the operating room setting
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe and efficient patient care throughout operative procedures
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage, including after-hours and weekend call assignments
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC
• Adhere to facility policies, compliance requirements, and patient safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN License (must be verified via Nursys within the last 2 weeks)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CNOR certifications required (AHA or ARC accepted only)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR required
• Must live within 50 miles of the facility to be considered at the local rate; candidates outside 50 miles are welcome to apply as travelers

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-acuity or fast-paced surgical environment
• Familiarity with perioperative compliance and onboarding processes in travel assignments
