Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (15:30–23:00) with on-call coverage based on department needs; on-call availability may be required for variable weekday shifts and weekend/holiday coverage as needed; current on-call need includes third-shift coverage (22:00–07:00) two days per week, every other weekend, and every other holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound and echocardiography examinations in a hospital setting
• Operate Siemens and GE ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Document and manage patient records using the EPIC electronic health record system
• Respond to on-call assignments across variable shifts based on department needs
• May be required to float to other onsite departments or to facilities within 40 miles as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active BLS certification required
• ARDMS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of hospital-based ultrasound experience
• Proficiency with Siemens and GE ultrasound machines
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records
• Ability to float onsite or to locations within 40 miles as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience performing a broad range of sonography studies within a hospital environment
• Comfort working variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Familiarity with multi-site or float pool assignments
