Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days & Nights | 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit setting
• Monitor, assess, and respond to critically ill patients requiring intensive intervention
• Float as needed to Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Medical-Surgical, and Telemetry units
• Participate in weekend rotation and holiday coverage as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon submission
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating to PCU, Medical-Surgical, or Telemetry units
• Ability to adapt to both day and night shift schedules (0700–1900 and 1900–0700)
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in a fast-paced ICU environment
