Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to residents in a long-term care / skilled nursing facility setting
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes to the supervising nurse or physician as appropriate
• Maintain valid state LPN/LVN licensure and adhere to all applicable scope-of-practice guidelines
• Wear a facility-issued photo badge and present a valid state or federal issued photo ID upon arrival to the facility at all times

Required Qualifications

• Active LPN or LVN license in the state of Alabama
• COVID-19 vaccination required; candidates who are not vaccinated must present a documented religious or medical exemption from their employer
• Additional COVID-19 doses must be obtained where required by law
• Must be a local candidate to be eligible for this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility environment
• Familiarity with night shift workflows and staffing expectations in a SNF setting
