Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Rotating Weekends and Holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with medical and/or surgical critical care needs in a 14-bed Critical Care unit with 24-hour intensivist coverage
• Manage and monitor patients on mechanical ventilation
• Titrate vasoactive medications and sedation infusions in accordance with patient care protocols
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring and interpret findings to guide clinical decision-making
• Recognize and manage cardiac dysrhythmias, including post-STEMI care
• Complete required pass/fail competency testing in Telemetry/ECG interpretation and medications prior to acceptance

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license required at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Demonstrated competency in core critical care skills: ventilator management, vasoactive and sedation titration, hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and management, and post-STEMI care
• Local candidates are welcome to apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CCRN certification preferred
• Evidence of relevant continuing education in critical care
