Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 4x10s, 0700–1630, Monday–Thursday | Call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients across the age spectrum within the Surgical Services Department
• Supervise and coordinate care planning with other disciplines in the perioperative setting
• Perform circulating duties in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance throughout surgical procedures
• Maintain familiarity with crash cart equipment and emergency protocols as required by role
• Adhere to all HIPAA and confidentiality regulations applicable to the department

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification required within six months of employment; recertification every two years
• PALS certification required within six months of employment; recertification every two years
• Minimum of 2–3 years of recent operating room experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Specialty certification such as CNOR, PANAC, or AAOPU preferred
• Experience with perioperative equipment including IV pumps, PCA pumps, epidural pumps, and patient monitors
• Familiarity with surgical services workflows and multi-disciplinary care coordination
