Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery / Fetal Testing Center

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–12:00 PM | No Call | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Fetal Testing Center setting under a Labor & Delivery specialty scope
• Monitor and assess fetal and maternal status, documenting findings accurately and in a timely manner
• Perform and interpret fetal surveillance testing in accordance with established clinical protocols
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care plans and communicate changes in patient condition
• Maintain compliance with all unit-specific policies, safety standards, and required certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• AWHONN certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Fetal Testing Center or antepartum monitoring environment
• Familiarity with fetal surveillance techniques including non-stress tests and biophysical profiles
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills in a fast-paced clinical setting
