Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans throughout the surgical episode of care
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate
• Serve as a primary coordinator across all disciplines to support well-coordinated patient care
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Follow Standard Precautions and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
• Experience in cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) scrubbing
• Ability to apply critical thinking skills and decisive judgment in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a high-acuity or complex cardiovascular surgical setting
• Familiarity with established surgical policies, procedures, and protocols within a healthcare organization
