Sonographer – Pediatrics

Key Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiographic studies across the full spectrum of diagnoses including fetal congenital (22+ weeks), pediatric heart disease, and adult congenital echocardiography
• Provide coverage across NICU, PICU, and Cardiac ICU settings
• Assist with bedside ECMO weans and catheter placement
• Recognize and triage emergent clinical situations
• Provide written communication of findings to cardiologists
• Maintain equipment and manage logging and billing of procedures

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric sonography
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with ECMO procedures
• Extensive understanding of congenital and non-congenital heart disease
• BLS certification required
• ARDMS registration required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Registry in Pediatric Echocardiography preferred
• Fetal echo experience encouraged
• Adult echo experience a plus
• Familiarity with Epic EMR, PACS Fuji, and CV Synapse systems
