Travel Physical Therapist

Location

Port Charlotte, FL | Acute Care / Inpatient Rehab

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Every other weekend and holidays on a rotating basis

Key Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy evaluations and treatments across all floors of an acute care hospital setting
• Manage a caseload of typically 9–10 patients per day, meeting a 75% productivity standard
• Utilize mobility equipment and document care using the Meditech EMR system
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including OT and SLP staff on the inpatient rehab unit
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotation in accordance with facility scheduling policy

Required Qualifications

• Valid Florida Physical Therapist (PT) license
• MPT or DPT degree from an accredited college or university
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• ICU experience
• Collaborative, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
