Job Title

Travel RN – Cardiac Cath Lab

Location

Fort Walton Beach, FL | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM | STEMI call expected approximately 10–12 days per month | Self-scheduling

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting, including pre-, intra-, and post-procedure patient management
• Perform and assist with procedures including PCI, PFO closure, TAVR, atherectomy, right/left heart catheterization, Impella/IABP, implants, DCCV, and TEE
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including GE Innova, Impella, IABP, IFR, and FFR devices
• Document patient care accurately using MacLab and Meditech documentation systems
• Participate in STEMI call coverage as part of the expected rotation
• Float within related departments including EP Lab and Stress Lab as needed per unit policy

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (must meet state requirements for Florida)
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Proficiency with Structural Heart procedures, IABP, Impella, IFR, and FFR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with advanced Cath Lab procedures including TAVR, PFO closure, and atherectomy
• Familiarity with GE Innova imaging systems
• Prior experience with MacLab and/or Meditech documentation platforms
• Experience in EP Lab or Stress Lab environments
