Job Title

Interventional Radiologic Technologist

Location

Salinas, CA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | On-site | Call required (one night per week and every other weekend)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiologic procedures in an acute care, Level II Trauma Center setting
• Scrub and circulate for interventional procedures, with demonstrated knowledge of sterile catheter techniques
• Assist RNs in the pre and post procedure area as a secondary support person
• Participate in on-call rotation to support Trauma Center requirements
• Chart accurately using Meditech electronic health records system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab
• Proficiency in sterile catheter procedures, scrubbing, and circulating
• Ability and willingness to assist RNs in pre and post procedure areas
• Availability for on-call shifts: one night per week and every other weekend
• Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility due to call requirements
• Valid and applicable state licensure and certifications as required for the role

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with pacemaker implantation procedures
• Interventional Trauma experience with Endovascular (catheter-based) techniques
• Familiarity with Meditech charting system
