Job Title

Occupational Therapist (OT) – Travel Contract

Location

Wichita, KS | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform occupational therapy evaluations for patients across a high-volume acute care setting with approximately 250 active consults per day
• Deliver OT treatments with a typical caseload of 8–10 patients assigned per OTR per day
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Operate with a high degree of autonomy in clinical decision-making and care planning
• Document patient care using the Meditech EMR system
• Utilize general acute care DME as appropriate for patient needs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of acute care hospital occupational therapy experience
• Active Kansas (KS) OT licensure required
• BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma experience in an acute care setting
• Comprehensive stroke experience
