Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a high-volume ED seeing approximately 350 patients per day across a 73-room department with 24 hallway spaces
• Care for stroke, STEMI, and trauma-adjacent patients in a Level I Trauma Center environment (trauma patients are not directly received, but strong trauma-level experience is essential)
• Medically clear psychiatric patients for admission; utilize sitters for suicidal patients as appropriate
• Manage non-acute patients on the non-acute side of the ED (no separate fast track area)
• Be available for 1–2 on-call shifts per schedule and willing to float to offsite ED locations in the surrounding area

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC, and CPI certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of emergency room nursing experience
• Prior experience at a Level I or Level II Trauma Center
• Willingness to take 1–2 on-call shifts per schedule
• Willingness to float to offsite ED locations as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• EPIC electronic health record experience strongly preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
