Travel RN – Medical/Surgical Ortho/Spine

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Projected Start: August 3, 2026 | Expected 48 hours/week | 4 weekend shifts per schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 26-bed Ortho/Spine unit, with a patient ratio of 6:1
• Care for patients undergoing knee and hip replacements as well as multi-level spine surgeries
• Operate and manage unit-specific equipment including coolers, walkers, SCDs, and CPMs
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Collaborate with unit secretaries, PCTs, and Navigators to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Adhere to floating/rotation policy and maintain patient experience standards

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License (must be valid for the state of Tennessee or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Strong orthopedic background required
• Demonstrated compassion and teamwork skills
• Ability to meet a 72% patient experience benchmark
• Navy scrubs required as dress code

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an ortho/spine inpatient setting
• Familiarity with post-surgical care for joint replacement and spinal surgery patients
• Experience with Meditech documentation system
