Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and implement the plan of medical care while ensuring nursing care is delivered in a safe and competent manner.
- Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
- Record and maintain accurate patient medical information, vital signs, and detailed clinical reports.
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ conditions to the appropriate care team members.
- Consult and coordinate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patient responses and conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts or compact eligibility.
- Demonstrated ability to perform clinical decision-making regarding individualized nursing care.
- Experience providing direct patient care in an acute or specialty care setting.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an oncology nursing setting.
- Familiarity with oncology treatment protocols, chemotherapy administration, and related patient monitoring.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary care team.
