RN – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | Every Other Weekend, Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during night shift hours
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC
• Float onsite within scope of practice or to nearby facilities within the health system as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Wisconsin (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room experience with prior travel nursing experience, OR 5+ years of experience in a large Emergency Department without travel experience
• EPIC EMR proficiency required
• Ability and willingness to float to sites within approximately 40 miles if needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an Emergency Room setting
• Experience in a high-volume or large-scale Emergency Department
• Strong adaptability and ability to acclimate quickly to new environments and teams
