Job Title

Travel RN – Emergency Room (Freestanding ED)

Location

Asheville, NC | Freestanding Emergency Department

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a freestanding emergency department setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in accordance with facility standards
• Maintain a safe patient environment and adhere to all infection control and safety protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of North Carolina or a compact state license
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency department nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency or acute care setting
• Experience in a high-volume or Level II trauma center environment
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
