Job Title

Travel RN – Pediatric CVOR (Cardiovascular OR)

Location

Denver, CO | Acute Care – Pediatric Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: September 7, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the operating room environment across pediatric cardiovascular and surgical service lines
• Assist surgeons during cardiac, open heart, and other pediatric surgical procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs and provide pre- and post-operative care in a 1:1 patient ratio setting
• Operate and utilize specialized equipment including the Belmont Rapid Fusion system
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech / CPN EMR systems
• Collaborate effectively with charge RNs, surgical technologists, and anesthesia teams

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current hospital-based Pediatric CVOR RN experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Cardiac / Open Heart surgery experience is required — candidates without this will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric nursing experience beyond CVOR
• Broad CVOR and cardiac surgical experience
• Ability to function across multiple surgical service lines (Orthopedic, ENT, Urology, Spine, General, GYN, Endoscopy, Plastics)
• Strong communication skills with staff and providers; collaborative team-oriented approach
