Job Title
Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a hospitalist/general medicine Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Maintain expected nurse-to-patient ratios in a PCU environment (currently 1:5, with a goal of 1:4)
- Float as needed to other PCU units and potentially Med/Surg units within the facility
- Meet weekend shift expectations, which may include every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- Complete orientation modules within required timeframes as directed by the facility
- Document and manage patient care using EPIC electronic health records — EPIC experience is required
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- EPIC experience required
- PCU, IMC, or Stepdown nursing experience
- Availability to work at least 1 holiday per 13-week assignment; during winter holiday periods, availability to work 2 holidays (e.g., Thanksgiving, Christmas/Christmas Eve, NYE/New Year’s Day)
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront at the time of submittal
- Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are generally not eligible; candidates residing 50–99.9 miles away may be considered for a single 13-week assignment with no eligibility to extend
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or progressive care setting
- Experience floating between PCU and Med/Surg units
- Familiarity with hospitalist or general medicine patient populations
