Sonographer / 8-Hour Days

Contract | Full-Time | Day Shift | On-Site | Weekend rotation with call coverage required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and advanced echocardiography studies including complete and limited scans, 2D measurements, strain imaging, TEE, and stress echo on both adult and pediatric patient populations
- Manage an expected patient volume of approximately 8 outpatient and 6–8 inpatient cases per day across clinic and hospital settings
- Float between clinic and hospital settings as needed to support departmental coverage
- Participate in call coverage in the hospital setting, with an expected schedule of approximately 6 call nights per month; weekend call occurs on a rotating basis approximately every 6–7 weeks
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, cardiologists, and a clinical informaticist to support patient care
- Document and manage patient imaging using EPIC EMR and operate Philips CV-x and 7C ultrasound equipment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of sonography experience required
- Pediatric echocardiography experience is required
- Active BLS certification required
- ARDMS or CCI-RCS certification required
- Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or equivalent required
- Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience performing TEE and stress echo procedures
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR in a clinical imaging environment
- Experience working in both outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital settings
- Comfort with call and weekend rotation schedules
