Travel RN – Emergency Department

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Rotating Weekends | Projected Start: November 9, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed Emergency Department with a 1:4 patient ratio
- Perform and assist with procedures including intubation and central line placement
- Operate and monitor equipment including ventilators and Baxter IV pumps
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR
- Respond to emergency situations and deliver timely, high-quality emergency care
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, medics, triage RNs, and unit secretaries
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid for the state of Texas
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications required
- Demonstrated patient care experience in an emergency setting
- Proficiency with emergency response protocols and procedures
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
- Experience with Meditech Expanse or similar EMR platforms
- Flexible, team-oriented approach to fast-paced emergency environments
