Contract (13-Week Assignment) | Days | 12-Hour Shifts | Alternating 3×12 and 4×12 Schedule | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Some weekends and holidays required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to residents in a long-term care / skilled nursing facility setting
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Monitor and document resident status using the facility’s EMR system (ECS)
- Follow an alternating weekly schedule — week one consists of 4 shifts (Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat) and week two consists of 3 shifts (Sun, Wed, Thu); this pattern repeats and no special scheduling requests will be accommodated
- Availability for holiday coverage as needed with minimal time-off requests
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid Georgia CNA certification/license — will not be considered without a license (if license is pending, proof that the process is underway may be accepted)
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of long-term care (LTC) experience
- Minimal time-off requests; any RTO must be disclosed at time of submission, especially around holidays
- Candidates residing within 30 miles of the facility are not eligible; candidates residing within 31–50 miles may be accepted at a local rate
- Up to 8 hours of non-billable pre-start modules required, completed through HealthStream
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel healthcare experience preferred
- Familiarity with ECS electronic medical records system
- 3 or more years of LTC experience a plus
