CT Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology

Contract | Evening Shift | 4×10-Hour Shifts, Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM–12:30 AM | Expected 2 weekend call shifts per month (12-hour shifts)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures within a Radiology/Cardiology setting
- Operate and maintain CT equipment in accordance with facility protocols and safety standards
- Participate in weekend on-call rotation, with an expected 2 twelve-hour call shifts per month
- Complete required annual hands-on competency assessments and facility-assigned modules as scheduled
- Collaborate with clinical team members to ensure quality patient care and imaging outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in CT as the specialty being applied for
- Active, permanent Ohio state license required at time of submission (compact licenses accepted for starts dated 1/1/2023 and forward)
- All required certifications must be active with nothing pending
- One supervisory reference (manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director) in the CT specialty is required for submission
- Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (maximum of 2 attempts permitted)
- Must have no open background check cases; facility does not accept any license hits
- All non-nurse, non-CST travelers must be nicotine free — negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start, updated annually
- Locals are welcome and accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel experience in a CT or Radiology/Cardiology setting
- Familiarity with large health system protocols and compliance requirements
- Experience with ECG rhythm recognition in a clinical imaging environment
