Travel RN – Surgical Telemetry
Location
Lewisville, TX | Inpatient Surgical Telemetry Unit
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Projected Start: October 26, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 19-bed Surgical Telemetry unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
- Utilize Baxter IV pumps, Welch Allyn VS machines, and Meditech EMR to deliver and document care
- Perform ambulation of patients and wound care as needed
- Collaborate with an RN/LVN/PCT team including charge nurses and patient care technicians on day shift
- Float to sister departments including Ortho Trauma and Inpatient Rehab as needed
- Work alongside an admission/discharge team to support the admitting and discharging process for medical-surgical patients
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Texas
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical experience
- Minimum 1 year of Telemetry experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Charge nurse experience
- Preceptor experience
- Positive attitude and strong team-player mentality
