Job Title
Medical Technologist – Medical Lab Technician (MLT) / Medical Technologist (MT)

Rhinelander, WI
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Rotating Shifts (8, 10, and 12-hour days, evenings, and nights) | Onsite | Expected 80 hours biweekly; overtime may be available after 80 hours worked in the second week
Key Responsibilities
- Perform phlebotomy as a primary function, with additional responsibilities including urinalysis processing, chemistry, and kit test processing
- Toggle between lab assistant and MLT responsibilities as needed based on department needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic
- Participate in every other weekend and holiday rotation
- Be available for on-call assignments; call-back minimum is 2 hours
- Float to additional facility locations as prescheduled and required
Required Qualifications
- Active MLT, MT, or CLS certification required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
- Minimum 3 years of core lab experience; at least 1 travel assignment required
- Epic proficiency required
- Flexible scheduling availability across days, evenings, and nights required
- Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ASCP certification preferred but not required
- Experience floating across multiple lab or facility settings
- Strong adaptability and ability to manage change in a fast-paced environment
