Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to residents in a long-term care / skilled nursing facility setting
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes to appropriate clinical staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support individualized resident care plans
- Maintain compliance with all facility policies, regulatory requirements, and infection control standards
- Wear a valid photo identification badge at all times while on assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license in the state of Alabama (or compact equivalent)
- Valid state or federal issued photo identification required to be presented at the facility
- Completion of original or updated COVID-19 vaccination series, or a documented religious and/or medical exemption from employer; additional doses required where mandated by law
- Ability to work night shifts for the duration of a 9-week contract
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility environment
- Familiarity with electronic health records and clinical documentation systems
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced care setting
