Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech)

Contract | Days, 5×8-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology and special procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Operate imaging equipment and assist physicians during IR procedures
- Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures
- Complete required annual hands-on competency assessments as directed by the facility
- Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, including orientation modules and assessments
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Interventional Radiology / Special Procedures
- Active, permanent Ohio state license required at time of submission (compact licenses accepted for starts dated 1/1/2023 and forward)
- All required certifications must be active with nothing pending
- One supervisory reference (manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director) in the specialty is required for submission
- Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (up to 2 attempts permitted)
- Local candidates are welcome and will be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel experience in an interventional radiology or special procedures setting
- Familiarity with compliance-driven healthcare environments and orientation module requirements
- Experience working within large health system environments
