RN – Cardiac Cath Lab

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days (0800–1630) | 5×8s | Expected 40 hours/week | Call required: 2 nights per week and 3 weekends out of every 8 minimum (Friday–Sunday); holiday call or work as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care within a Cardiac Cath Lab setting, supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Perform circulating duties during cardiac procedures
- Administer and monitor moderate sedation throughout procedures
- Conduct hemodynamic monitoring and interpret findings to support patient safety
- Fulfill on-call obligations including nights and weekends as scheduled
- Document patient care accurately using electronic health record systems
Required Qualifications
- Active Mississippi Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Cardiac nursing experience
- Experience with moderate sedation and hemodynamic monitoring
- Experience circulating cardiac procedures
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Scrub experience in a cardiac cath lab environment
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
