Registered Nurse – Rehabilitation (Travel)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Expected 48 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in a 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation setting across floors 1 and 2
- Care for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:8, delivering individualized, patient-centered rehabilitation nursing care
- Document and manage patient records using Cerner EHR
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to support each patient’s recovery journey
- Adhere to all facility protocols, including weekend shift coverage (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of rehabilitation nursing experience
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in an inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) setting
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records system
- Cooperative, team-oriented approach to patient care and staff collaboration
