Contract (14 Weeks) | Full-Time | Days | Monday – Friday | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in a skilled nursing facility setting using evidence-based occupational therapy practices
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients’ functional independence and quality of life
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
Required Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of California
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, day shift
- Ability to fulfill a 14-week contract commitment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care environment
- Familiarity with Medicare documentation and skilled nursing facility billing requirements
- Strong communication and interdisciplinary team collaboration skills
