Full-Time | Permanent | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within a 10-bed LDRP unit, including active labor, latent labor, postpartum, and couplet care
- Support Special Care Nursery Level II patients as needed
- Maintain established nurse-to-patient ratios: active labor 1:1, postpartum/couplet care 3:1, and latent labor 2:1
- Float to other units including Med/Surg, ICU, ER, and Skilled Nursing as required
- Participate in every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday rotation
- Obtain and maintain BLS, ACLS, and Fetal Monitoring certifications within 6 months of hire if not already held
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification required (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
- ACLS certification required (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
- Fetal Monitoring certification required (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
- Willingness and ability to float to Med/Surg, ICU, ER, and Skilled Nursing units
- Compliance with facility appearance standards: jewelry kept to a minimum; visible face and/or body piercings beyond traditional ear piercings and small nose studs are not permitted while on duty
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Prior experience in Labor & Delivery, postpartum, or mother/baby care
- Familiarity with Special Care Nursery or Level II Nursery environments
