Contract | Days | 5×8-hour shifts (8:00–16:30) | Some weekends required | No on-call requirement
Key Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient acute care physical therapy services to a diverse patient population
- Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic and neurological conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and clinical guidelines
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient recovery and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Physical Therapy
- Active California Physical Therapist license
- BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an inpatient setting
- Experience treating orthopedic and neurological patient populations
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at travel rate; local candidates are accepted at a local rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-acuity inpatient acute care environment
- Familiarity with interdisciplinary team collaboration in a hospital setting
- Strong documentation skills with experience using electronic health record systems
