Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM | Expected 36 or 48 hours/week | 2 weekend shifts per contract
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic (experience required)
- Float to like units within scope of practice as needed based on facility needs, with brief unit orientation provided
- Complete onsite orientation modules as required prior to beginning assignment
Required Qualifications
- Valid Kansas or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room experience
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required and must be in hand at time of submission
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be accepted
- RTO (requested time off) must be listed at time of submittal
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience as a travel nurse is a plus, though first-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and float to like units as needed
