Travel RN – Emergency Department

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 52-bed Emergency Department operating at an average 3:1 patient ratio (low acuity up to 5:1; pediatric patients managed via team nursing)
- Perform IV starts, medication administration, procedural sedation, and pediatric care
- Administer and document medications using Alaris equipment; scan patient medications with every administration
- Utilize Meditech/CPN EMR for accurate and timely documentation
- Maintain a strong focus on patient experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, physicians, midlevel providers, techs, and unit clerks
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Emergency Department experience
- Active RN license required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
- CPI Blue Card required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ENPC certification
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Previous travel experience in large facility or high-volume settings
