Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Level I Emergency Department setting with a 4:1 patient ratio
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across a wide acuity range
- Document all patient care activities accurately using Cerner EMR (prior Cerner experience required)
- Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs as required
- Participate in onsite orientation modules as directed by the Nurse Educator
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license — Tennessee license or compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Prior Cerner EMR experience required
- Pending licenses are not accepted
- Local candidates are welcome and accepted
- 2 references required (may be pending at time of submittal)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification preferred but not required
- Experience in a high-volume or Level I trauma/emergency environment
