Job Title
Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Nights)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Medical-Surgical unit serving patients of all ages
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6, delivering safe and effective nursing care
- Document and manage patient records using the Meditech EHR system
- Participate in weekend rotations and on-call duties as needed
- Float to other units as needed based on facility staffing requirements
- Adhere to facility dress code and maintain a professional standard of conduct at all times
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure valid in the state of Virginia (or compact eligibility)
- BLS certification required prior to start
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required prior to start
- HWC certification required prior to start (available on-site)
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate
- Must consent to random drug screening and complete a Criminal Questionnaire/Consent Form prior to placement
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2+ years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Familiarity with Meditech EHR platform
- Experience in an acute care hospital setting
