Contract | Full-Time | Days | 4×10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub on a variety of surgical cases including orthopedic total joints, laparoscopic procedures, and robotic procedures
- Participate in an on-call rotation within a 6-week schedule, with approximately one call shift per week running from end of shift (5:30 PM) through 7:00 AM the following day
- Fulfill weekend call obligations, expected approximately once every 5 weeks (Saturday or Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)
- Respond to the facility within 30 minutes of receiving a call from a supervisor when on call
- Participate in mandatory call coverage rotation when scheduled staff are unavailable
Required Qualifications
- Experience scrubbing orthopedic total joint procedures
- Experience scrubbing laparoscopic and robotic surgical procedures
- Ability to respond to the facility within 30 minutes while on call
- Willingness and availability to participate in mandatory call coverage rotation
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a trauma center environment
- Familiarity with a high-volume, fast-paced surgical setting
