Job Title
Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | Monday – Friday | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy treatments to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement and progress individualized treatment plans in accordance with the supervising PT’s direction
- Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and relevant clinical notes accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and goals
- Maintain a safe and professional environment, adhering to all facility policies and procedures
- Must present a state or federal issued photo ID upon arrival and wear a photo badge at all times while on site
Required Qualifications
- Active PTA license in the state of Maryland
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work Monday through Friday day shifts for the duration of a 13-week contract
- Must comply with facility identification and badging requirements at all times
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an outpatient, acute care, or similar clinical setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and care teams
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation systems
