Travel RN – Emergency Department (Night Shift)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed Emergency Department operating as a Level 3 Trauma Center, Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI, and Stroke Certified facility
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4 during night shift alongside a Charge Nurse Coordinator, fellow RNs, Unit Clerk, and Greeter
- Operate and monitor patients using GE monitors, Lifepaks, Baxter IV pumps, Ranger rapid infuser, and Ranger blood warmer
- Document all patient care accurately using the Meditech Expanse EMR system
- Respond to trauma, cardiac, and stroke emergencies in accordance with facility protocols and required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Kentucky or a compact state
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- TNCC certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency department setting
- Familiarity with Meditech Expanse EMR
- Experience in trauma, chest pain, or stroke care environments
