CVOR Surgical Technologist

Contract | Days | 3×12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide surgical technologist support within a cardiovascular OR environment, with a focus on cardiovascular/thoracic and transplant cases
- Assist with robotic thoracic procedures as needed
- Float within facility and to the Main OR within scope of practice as departmental needs require
- Participate in on-call rotation subject to departmental needs
- Work assigned major holidays that fall within the contract period per holiday policy
- Complete all required orientation modules and compliance documentation within designated timelines
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR surgical technologist experience
- Georgia state surgical tech certification or equivalent required
- Full compliance with onboarding requirements must be completed by the Tuesday prior to start date; failure to comply may result in a two-week start date delay
- All requested time off (maximum 7 days per contract) must be finalized at time of submission — no RTO or schedule requests will be accepted post-offer or onsite
- No RTO may be requested during orientation week (Monday–Sunday)
- Local candidates are welcome and accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in cardiovascular/thoracic and transplant surgical cases
- Robotic thoracic surgical experience
- Prior travel assignment experience (first-time travelers also considered)
