Job Title
RN Postpartum – 3×12 Rotator

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Full-Time | Rotating Days/Nights, 3×12-hour shifts per week | Every other weekend expected
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct postpartum nursing care to mothers and newborns in a Mother Baby unit
- Monitor and assess maternal and neonatal status, identifying and responding to changes in condition
- Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, newborn care, and breastfeeding support
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate safe and effective patient care
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in the medical record
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in Massachusetts or a compact state license accepted in MA
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience in Mother Baby, Postpartum, or a related maternal-newborn nursing specialty
- Ability to work a rotating day/night schedule including every other weekend
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a high-volume acute care postpartum setting
- Familiarity with couplet care (mother-baby nursing)
- Strong patient education and communication skills
