Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Ortho / Neuro)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 16-bed Orthopedic / Neurology unit
- Manage a patient assignment of 6–8 patients per shift
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for ortho and neuro patient populations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient recovery and discharge planning
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or a compact state license
- Current BLS certification required
- Ability to work night shifts as scheduled
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an orthopedic or neurology nursing setting
- Familiarity with post-surgical patient care and neuro assessment protocols
- Experience managing higher patient ratios in an acute care environment
