Job Title
Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Traveler)

Contract | Days | On-call requirements vary; typically 16 hours Monday–Friday (excluding holidays), 24 hours on Saturdays and Sundays
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across a range of surgical specialties including general surgery, neuro, spine, orthopedics, and urology
- Provide surgical support for eyes and dental cases (on-site training provided for these specialties)
- Work independently following department orientation with minimal supervision
- Maintain accurate electronic documentation using the facility’s EMR system (training provided)
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and extended periods of standing
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Completed ARN 101 training
- Ability to work independently following department orientation
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
- Reliable transportation required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CAORN (Canadian Association of Operating Room Nurses) certification or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in neuro, spine, orthopedic, or urological surgical settings
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR (training available for those without prior experience)
