Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient- and family-centered care in a Medical/Surgical setting
- Perform excellent patient assessments and communicate findings clearly and accurately
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation using computer systems
- Function independently while managing a Medical/Surgical patient caseload
- Act rapidly and efficiently in emergency situations as they arise
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and uphold the organization’s mission, vision, and values
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maine or compact eligibility
- Experience in Medical/Surgical nursing
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to function independently and prioritize care effectively
- Ability to respond quickly and efficiently in emergency situations
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working night shift in a Medical/Surgical unit
- Familiarity with Maine State nursing standards and practices
