Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans upon physician referral
- Provide therapeutic interventions to relieve pain and develop, restore, or maintain physical function using exercise, massage, heat, cold, light, water, electricity, or sound
- Monitor and document patient progress toward established goals
- Collaborate with family members and interdisciplinary health team members regarding patient abilities and goals
- Apply current orthopedic and neurological follow-up procedures and rehabilitation practices
Required Qualifications
- Active Oregon Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for licensure through the Oregon State Board
- Current CPR certification required
- Valid Oregon driver’s license required
- Bachelor of Science or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Strong knowledge of therapy procedures, rehabilitation practices, and orthopedic and neurological follow-up protocols
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior clinical experience in occupational therapy, though new graduates who meet all licensure requirements are encouraged to apply
- Effective team collaboration skills including communication, support, and mutual respect
- Basic computer proficiency including opening documents, completing forms, and sending email communications
