Travel RN – Medical Surgical (Acute Care)

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct inpatient nursing care to Medical Surgical patients within a critical access hospital setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Monitor patient status, document clinical findings, and communicate changes in condition to appropriate providers
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Maintain compliance with Joint Commission standards and facility policies throughout the duration of the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Michigan (or compact license eligibility)
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Ability to commit to a 13-week contract beginning October 2026
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a critical access hospital or rural acute care setting
- Familiarity with swing bed or post-acute inpatient care workflows
- Experience working within Joint Commission accredited facilities
