Level III NICU/PICU Respiratory Therapist, Night Shift

Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services within a Level III NICU and PICU setting during night shift hours
- Assess, treat, and monitor neonatal and pediatric patients with respiratory conditions
- Manage and operate mechanical ventilators and other respiratory support equipment for critically ill patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses to therapy accurately and in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
- Active Respiratory Therapist licensure in the state of Illinois
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Experience working in a Level III NICU and/or PICU environment
- Proficiency with neonatal and pediatric mechanical ventilation
- Current BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel or contract respiratory therapy experience
- Experience with high-frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV) or other advanced respiratory modalities
- Familiarity with neonatal resuscitation protocols
